Issaquah Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is located on five scenic acres above the Issaquah Creek. Residents have the unique opportunity to accomplish their goals in our renowned rehabilitation program surrounded by lush forest and beautiful gardens.
Our Facility is a bird and squirrel sanctuary with frequent visits by deer and bald eagles. Such abundant nature creates an atmosphere of tranquility and relaxation, providing an exceptional experience for our residents, families and staff.
Did you know that a natural environment is good for rehab? According to the University of Washington, dementia patients who have access to gardens are less likely to display aggression or experience injuries as well as improved sleep patterns, balanced hormones, and decreased agitation. There are many mental, emotional, and social benefits experienced when the elderly participate in the natural environment.
