According to the National Institutes of Health (NIH), one in four adults over the age of 60 years old experience Vitamin D deficiency, posing more health problems. As we get older, our bodies struggle to produce and process enough Vitamin D for ourselves. In addition, older adults tend to stay indoors more which prevents them from absorbing Vitamin D from the sun rays.
Lisa Stubenrauch, Administrator of Issaquah Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, is announced as an honoree in the 2018 Leaders in Health Care Awards by Seattle Business magazine for helping pave the way to improve Washington's world-class health sector.

Regency Castle Assisted Living near Bellevue, WA hosted a keynote presentation given by Tony Ventrella, who spoke about his childhood and his career in broadcasting. Issaquah Nursing & Rehabilitation Center had the honor of meeting Mr Ventrella and learning more about his background and contributions to communities in Washington.
Throughout the pandemic, our staff has remained dedicated to the care and service of our residents. We are proud to announce the Washington State Department of Health recognized Issaquah Nursing & Rehabilitation Center with the Gold Award for outstanding staff immunization against Covid-19.
Issaquah Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is one of a small group of senior care organizations in Washington State that achieved over 90% staff vaccination by September 30, 2021.
