Maura is a nurse practitioner, nationally certified in family medicine, with extensive experience working with older adults in multiple settings. She attended nursing school at John’s Hopkins University and earned a Master’s in Nursing from Seattle Pacific University. Maura recently completed a post-master’s in palliative care at the University of Washington.
Maura’s passion for palliative care continues to grow with time. She believes strongly in partnering with patients and families to provide them relief from symptoms, pain, physical stress, and mental stress at any stage of illness. Her focus is to improve patients’ quality of life, delineated by their goals of care and wishes. Maura strives to provide holistic, patient-centered care to individuals and their families who face chronic and serious illness.
Maura is active in the community as well as her children’s schools. She enjoys reading books, exercising with her dog, and gardening.
